COLLECTION METHOD:

Removed in the slaughterhouse, paying particular attention to retaining the insulin rich "tail" of the gland at the spleenic end. Trimmed of all excess non-gland tissue, fat, tubes, etc. Lymph glands to be removed.

Acid dipped in 0.5 N sulphuric acid

PACK SIZE:

Solid packing in a polythene-lined carton to 27.2 kg net.
