Notes
From the age of seventeen Jessie followed in her father's footsteps in her interest in public affairs, such as the Poowong Bush Nursing Association, the Poowong Hall Committee and the Red Cross, at times holding office.
Jessie married Henry (Harry) Osbome, and they lived on a dairy farm at Poowong East until they moved to Drouin in 1978.
She is interested in singing and was church organist for over thirty years. In later life Jessie and her husband are enjoying extensive travel.
