Notes

Chris started her General Nursing training at the Bendigo Base Hospital in 1930. She trained in Midwifery at the same hospital and also in Infant Welfare at "Tandarra", part of the Berry Street Foundling Home, in East Melbourne.

Her Infant Welfare work was done in four northern Victorian shires, including Wycheproof.

She married George Hamilton of Huntly and continued Infant Welfare work in the Bendigo area, retiring at sixty-five.

Her interests include reading, history and travel and she is very interested in architecture.
